Job summary

Truist in Chicago seeks a senior professional to manage an Asset Based Lending portfolio, monitor credit quality, collateral, and risk, and coordinate with risk partners to meet revenue and risk objectives.

The role requires a BA/BS, 11–15 years of experience, and an MBA with finance focus preferred, plus strong written and verbal communication. Regular first shift with a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; 11–15 years of related experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industry drivers, product positioning, structuring and risk mitigation.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional areas to resolve complex issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage/mitigate credit risk of ABL portfolio transactions.
• Prepare amendment memos, trend cards, and problem loan reports with accurate risk ratings.
• Maintain credit files, collateral diligence, including field exams and appraisals.
• Adhere to Truist policies, processes and regulatory requirements.
• Restructure and manage problem loans with risk-partner input.
• Collaborate with originations, structuring, legal and compliance to meet objectives.
• Develop junior talent and exemplify Truist culture and values.
