Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business (e.g. Administration, Finance, or Accounting).
• 8 years credit analysis and/or loan review experience in Commercial Banking.
• 6–7 years in Asset Based Lending, underwriting, or field examination.
• Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, journals or regulations.
• Ability to write reports and present information to managers and clients.
• Advanced analytical and communication skills.
• Professional presence and client-facing experience.
• Experience with financial modeling and risk analysis.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; able to learn new applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing credit risk of a complex ABL portfolio.
• Develop and maintain relationships with assigned customers and conduct client meetings.
• Attend client meetings independently and work with manager on complex clients.
• Manage loan structure and interface with servicing functions.
• Maintain internal relationships with coverage team and credit risk officers.
• Develop and execute strategies for problem clients.
• Maintain trend cards and credit files; document decisions.
• Monitor risk ratings (PD/LGD) and respond to changes.
• Mentor junior analysts and associates.
• Travel as required.
