Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1 year of experience as a Telecommunicator.
• Experience delivering training in 911 dispatch or related areas.
• Ability to document and file training records and prepare training guides.
• Must follow policies, procedures, rules and regulations in emergency calls and incidents.

Responsibilities

• Train new and current employees in 911 law enforcement and/or fire dispatch operations.
• Identify training needs and schedule appropriate training for employees.
• Document and file personnel training records; prepare guides and manuals.
• Evaluate trainees and provide remediation as needed.
• Operate CAD and related systems during dispatch and training scenarios.
