Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking a Senior 3D Drafter to build and maintain precise 3D models for electrical substation projects in Buford and Atlanta. A high school diploma and 5+ years of related experience are required. Proficiency with Inventor, Revit or similar 3D tools is expected.

Hybrid-remote work is available after 30 days of employment, with strong attention to detail and teamwork. Responsibilities include developing substation models, interpreting drawings, and supporting design deliverables

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience in a 3D modeling environment.
• Proficiency with Inventor, SolidWorks, Revit, SketchUp, or Fusion 360.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D substation models using Autodesk Inventor.
• Interpret 2D drawings and LiDAR/point cloud data to produce precise 3D geometry.
• Partner with engineers to ensure models align with project scope and standards.
• Organize and maintain drawing files following Wade Trim CAD/drafting standards.
• Assist in preparing plan sheets, details, and visualizations for design deliverables.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
