Job summary

Revamp is seeking a 3D Electrical Design Engineer III to lead development and coordination of 3D models for utility-scale PV and battery energy storage systems (BESS). The models you produce become the drawings construction teams use, so accuracy, constructability, and sound technical judgment directly support safe, timely project delivery.

In this role, you will independently lead significant portions of complex projects and coordinate several assignments at once.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, engineering technology, design, drafting/CADD, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering design, technical design, or drafting for power generation, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience using Autodesk Inventor or equivalent software to prepare 3D infrastructure designs.
• Electrical design experience involving cable routing, grounding, and equipment interconnections for large-scale projects.
• Experience coordinating design work across civil, electrical, and structural disciplines.
• Experience producing and reviewing sheet sets and design documentation from 3D models.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple concurrent assignments with limited guidance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate complex 3D models, layouts, and renderings for PV and BESS projects in Autodesk Inventor.
• Produce production-ready 3D representations of energy storage systems and associated equipment.
• Resolve electrical layout challenges including cable routing, grounding, and interconnections.
• Own model organization, revision control, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate interfaces among civil, electrical, structural, and mechanical disciplines.
• Present models in client reviews and advise on layout strategies and trade-offs.
