Job summary

Revamp Engineering, Inc. is seeking a 3D Electrical Design Engineer III to lead development and coordination of 3D models for utility-scale PV and BESS projects.

You will produce accurate, constructible models used by construction teams and engage with multiple engineering disciplines and stakeholders. You will mentor designers, review deliverables, and represent 3D design in client meetings while driving risk management and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, engineering technology, design, drafting/CADD, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering design for power generation or industrial projects.
• Minimum 5 years using Autodesk Inventor or equivalent to prepare 3D infrastructure designs.
• Electrical layout experience including cable routing, grounding, and interconnections for large-scale projects.
• Experience coordinating design work across civil, electrical, and structural disciplines.
• Experience producing and reviewing 3D model-derived drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, coordination, and maintenance of complex 3D models and renderings for PV and BESS projects.
• Create production-ready 3D representations of equipment and balance-of-system components.
• Resolve layout challenges including cable routing, clearances, and interconnections.
• Own and organize project models with revision control and documentation integrity.
• Coordinate interfaces among civil, electrical, structural, and mechanical teams.
• Produce sheet sets, drawings, and renderings from 3D models.
• Develop modeling templates, libraries, and automation to improve quality and throughput.
• Present models in client reviews and advise on modeling strategy and trade-offs.
• Mentor designers and coordinate multiple assignments with limited guidance.
