You will coordinate shop workflow with the Service Manager, supervise Technicians, communicate with customers, and ensure timely, accurate repairs while upholding safety standards and company policies.

Qualifikationen

• Formal technical school graduate certificate/degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years heavy duty truck or related industry experience including processing repair orders, diagnosis, repair and maintenance, and customer service.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with DOS and Windows based computer programs.
• Demonstrated knowledge of warranty guidelines, claim procedures and company policies.
• Ability to supervise employees and delegate work to optimize shop resources and tech abilities.

Aufgaben

• Coordinates service shop workflow with the Service Manager and assigns jobs to Technicians.
• Supervises all assigned service Technicians.
• Coordinates activities between service, parts, and service customers.
• Communicates with internal and external customers, vendors and business contacts.
• Ensures service calls are handled professionally and promptly.
• Assesses incoming service jobs, creates customer repair orders, and obtains customer signatures.
