Job summary

WEX, Inc. seeks a Senior Operational & Financial Risk Analyst for its 2LoD. You will oversee entity-level risks and primary risks split between bank operations and parent services under the MSA, driving automation of the central risk metric library and escalation-ready 1LoD and 2LoD processes.

You will monitor metrics, conduct ad hoc risk assessments, and report trends to steer policy updates with the Chief Credit Officer. Requires 5–8 years in banking risk and strong GRC skills.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in banking enterprise risk, operational risk, or internal audit with 3–4 years in 2LoD testing.
• Hands-on with GRC systems and data automation (SQL, Tableau).
• COSO, SOC, NIST familiarity; intercompany MSA/SLA oversight preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute independent 2LoD monitoring across entity-level risks and primary risks.
• Automate the risk metric library and build data pipelines to remove manual updates.
• Monitor 1LoD metrics and prepare escalation packages for the eRMC.
• Perform ad hoc 2LoD testing for emerging risks and incidents.
• Coordinate with parent services to validate controls meet risk standards.
• Report trends and provide insights to the Chief Credit Officer for policy updates.
