Job summary

WEX, Inc. is seeking a Senior Operational & Financial Risk Analyst to provide independent 2LoD risk oversight across entity-level risks and managed Primary Risks.

You will automate the risk metric library, monitor 1LoD metrics, and perform ad hoc testing for emerging risks, including parent-provided services under the MSA. You will review originated credits over $150k for policy compliance, report trends to the eRMC and Chief Credit Officer, and support risk policy updates and training.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in banking enterprise risk, operational risk, or internal audit.
• 3–4 years focused on 2LoD testing, control validation, and metric oversight.
• GRC systems and data automation experience.
• Deep understanding of entity-level risk taxonomies and intercompany oversight.

Responsibilities

• Execute independent 2LoD monitoring and testing across entity-level risks.
• Own 2LoD oversight for Primary Risks and evaluate internal controls.
• Perform routine 2LoD post‑decision reviews on originated credits >$150k.
• Build and maintain a centralized risk metric library with automated pipelines.
• Monitor 1LoD metrics and prepare escalation packages for eRMC.
• Conduct rapid ad hoc risk assessments for emerging risks.
