Job summary

WEX Bank seeks a Senior Operational & Financial Risk Analyst to provide independent risk oversight across entity-level risks and 2LoD testing of primary risks. You will automate the risk metric library and monitor 1LoD metrics for timely escalations.

You will review originated credits >$150k for policy compliance and support ERMC with actionable insights. Collaboration with Parent services via MSA is expected.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in banking enterprise risk with 3-4 years in 2LoD testing, control validation, and metric oversight.
• Hands-on with GRC systems (Logicgate, Jira) and data automation tools (SQL, Tableau).
• Deep understanding of entity-level risk taxonomies, COSO/SOC/NIST, and intercompany MSA/SLA oversight.

Responsibilities

• Execute independent 2LoD monitoring and testing across all entity-level risks and 2LoD oversight of primary risks.
• Perform routine 2LoD post-decision reviews on originated credits over $150k and report trends to ERMC.
• Build and maintain a centralized risk metric library and automate data pipelines to eliminate manual work.
• Monitor 1LoD metrics and prepare escalation data for the ERMC per bank procedures.
• Conduct rapid ad hoc risk assessments for emerging risks beyond annual testing.
