Job summary

WEX is seeking a Global Risk Operations Program Manager to drive strategic initiatives across collections, billing, and treasury operations. You will oversee a portfolio of high‑visibility programs, ensure alignment with regulatory and financial targets, and elevate executive visibility into risks, progress, and financial impacts.

The role requires 7–10 years in financial risk operations, strong stakeholder management, and proven project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 7–10 years of experience managing a portfolio of interrelated initiatives within a financial risk operations environment.
• Ability to deconflict resources and timelines across multiple workstreams to ensure consistent delivery of high‑scale financial initiatives.
• Proficiency in project management and visualization software to translate complex workflows into visual artifacts (e.g., LucidChart, Draw.io).
• Functional understanding of compliance and operational risk management for SOX, SOC, and regulatory control integrity.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to research, analyze, and present complex findings to drive decision‑making.
• Must successfully pass a background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning: identify and document initiatives to meet risk targets and customer experience goals.
• Maintain alignment across Mobility, CPS/Travel, and Benefits lines of business.
• Oversee Capital Funded Initiatives and product/tech roadmaps; prioritize operational requirements.
• Provide governance over the project portfolio and ensure releases meet funding objectives.
• Provide executive visibility with high‑level progress, blockers, and financial impacts.
• Maintain visibility into issues and risks, escalating only critical items.
