Job summary

NorthMark Compute & Cloud (NMC2) in Spartanburg, SC seeks a Watch Commander to lead the security and operations watch floor, directing staff and ensuring continuous, safe operation of a high-availability data center.

The role requires ICS/NIMS training, experience commanding a 24/7 team, and strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, and incident response. On-site, full-time with shift flexibility and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in security operations or mission-critical environments.
• Experience supervising a 24/7 shift, SOC or watch floor.
• Ability to act as Incident Commander under ICS/NIMS.

Responsibilities

• Command security and operations watch floor for the shift.
• Direct on-shift officers, assign posts, ensure staffing standards.
• Develop Incident and SOP Plans, manage handovers and logs.
• Coordinate with agencies and de-conflict security activities.
• Lead training, drills, and performance coaching.
