Job summary

NorthMark Strategies LLC is seeking a Watch Commander to lead the security and operations watch floor for a critical infrastructure campus in Spartanburg, SC. You will direct on-site personnel, monitor alarms and life-safety systems, and ensure continuous, safe operations during your shift.

You will develop action plans, manage incidents under ICS/NIMS, and coordinate with external agencies as needed. A background in security leadership and a willingness to work a rotating, 24/7 schedule are

Qualifications

• 7+ years in security operations or related mission-critical environment.
• Experience leading a 24/7 security/operations team.
• ICS/NIMS training (preferred) and ability to serve as Incident Commander.

Responsibilities

• Hold real-time command of the security and operations watch floor during the shift.
• Direct and supervise on-shift security officers and response staff.
• Conduct structured shift handovers to ensure continuity and status of incidents.
• Develop and implement Incident, Emergency, and SOP Action Plans aligned with Crisis Response Framework.
• Be available for TDY to support executive protection as needed.
