Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a qualified SEND professional for a 3-month contract with a local authority. You will manage a caseload of EHC Needs Assessments, EHCPs and Annual Reviews, ensuring compliance with SEND legislation and statutory deadlines.

The role involves collaborating with families, schools, health and social care professionals to deliver positive outcomes for children and young people with SEND. Remote working is available and a DBS check may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a SEND caseload within a local authority or similar setting.
• Progressing EHC Needs Assessments, EHCPs, and Annual Reviews.
• Familiarity with statutory timescales and SEND Code of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee caseload of EHC Needs Assessments, EHCPs and Annual Reviews from start to finish.
• Ensure statutory processes meet timescales and comply with legislation.
• Collect and interpret professional advice from education, health and social care.
• Draft, revise, and maintain Education, Health and Care Plans.
• Be the primary contact for families, schools and professionals in the EHC process.
• Lead or participate in meetings related to assessments and case resolutions.
