Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking an EHCP Coordinator for a four‑month contract with a local authority in the UK. You will oversee Education, Health and Care Plans, ensuring statutory duties and SEND timelines are met.

You will be the primary contact for families, schools, and partner agencies. You will coordinate assessments, reviews and amendments, and draft high‑quality EHCPs reflecting children's needs and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant SEND experience with children and young people.
• Experience in education, children's services or local authorities.
• Strong knowledge of EHCP processes and statutory duties.
• Understanding of SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of EHCPs from assessment to annual review.
• Coordinate EHCP processes with families, schools and partner agencies.
• Draft and maintain high-quality EHCPs with measurable outcomes.
• Monitor implementation and annual reviews of EHCPs.
