Job summary

Swanmore School invites applications for a Teaching Assistant to join our Learning Support Team. The role is 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.15am to 3:15pm, term-time only (39 weeks).

You will work with pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs, supporting them in and out of the classroom and helping develop literacy resources. Adaptability and a positive approach are essential, with enthusiasm and energy taking priority.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable.
• Ability to raise literacy levels and develop resources is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and energy to join a forward-looking team.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for pupils in and out of the classroom.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt materials and activities.
• Contribute to induction and ongoing training.
