Job summary

Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a primary setting. The role operates on a term-time basis with 39 weeks per year, 35 hours per week from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, and includes 5 inset days.

The successful candidate will assist with classroom preparation, student engagement, and 1:1/group support, while promoting positive behaviour and emotional development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children across the primary curriculum is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with children and carers.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills with a passion for engaging learning.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils who need extra help to complete tasks and stay engaged.
• Prepare classrooms, create displays and set up learning activities.
• Provide 1:1 and group support, monitor behaviour, and support emotional development.
• Assist the teacher with a wide range of classroom and school-based activities.
