Swanmore School invites applications for a Teaching Assistant to join our Learning Support Team. The role is 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.15am to 3:15pm, term-time only (39 weeks).
You will work with pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs, supporting them in and out of the classroom and helping develop literacy resources. Adaptability and a positive approach are essential, with enthusiasm and energy taking priority.

Required as soon as possible to work as a member of ourdynamic Learning Support Team providing support for pupils in and out of the classroom with a variety of Special Educational Needs. Adaptability is essential as is the ability to relate well to both pupils and teachers. Knowledge and experience of raising literacy levels and developing resources would be an advantage; however, enthusiasm and energy are the priority to join this forward looking team, along with having an SEN specialism.
A desire to make a difference will be equally valued along with life experience and a good sense of humour.
A comprehensive induction programme is in place and training is always on going.
