Job summary

Radiant Systems Inc. is seeking a Field Service / Start-Up Engineer to support installation, start-up, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor processing equipment at customer sites.

You will perform on-site service, install/upgrade parts, respond to issues, and train customer technicians while maintaining records and tools. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in similar roles, an associate degree in electronics/engineering, strong mechanical and problem-solving skills, and is

Qualifications

2+ years of experience maintaining, repairing, installing, or troubleshooting semiconductor capital equipment.
Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering, Technology, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Willingness and ability to travel 100% domestically.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site service, installation, start-up, maintenance, and repair of semiconductor processing equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime.
Install and replace equipment parts and perform upgrades/modifications.
Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
Coordinate with customers, peers, and supervisors to ensure efficient equipment operation.
Train customer technicians on equipment operation and maintenance.
Maintain accurate service records, reports, tools, vehicles, and company property.
Stay current on equipment, tools, procedures, and technical documentation through ongoing training.
Maintain professional standards while working at customer sites.
