Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment across customer sites in the United States. Travel within the US is required to support project requirements.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with semiconductor equipment, and the ability to follow procedures, read blueprints, and adhere to safety standards in fast-paced environments.

Qualifikationen

• Associates degree in electronics or engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology preferred.
• 2 years experience in maintenance, repair of semiconductor capital equipment.

Aufgaben

• Performs on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment.
• Troubleshoots equipment problems.
• Maintains records and reports as required.
• Coordinates activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers to minimize downtime.
• Orders and installs parts.
• Responds to emergency service calls as required.
• Instructs customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance.
• Performs upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed.
• Remain current on equipment/tools through training, manuals and factory materials.
• Upkeep, maintenance and security of company property including vehicles and tools.
• Maintain standards of conduct to stay credentialed on customer sites.
