Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent technical training or trade certification.
  • 2–4 years in semiconductor or equipment-support industry.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and/or thermodynamics.
  • Experience with hand tools and digital multimeters.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel; passport if required.
  • Able to meet on-site safety and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and upgrade Applied Materials equipment at customer sites.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, vacuum, hydraulic, plasma, and gas systems.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and implement solutions with support from senior engineers.
  • Build strong customer relationships through effective communication and technical support.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand production goals and equipment requirements.
  • Document service activities and provide timely updates to customers and team members.
  • Share technical knowledge and support the development of less-experienced engineers.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
