Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a qualified technician to perform on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment. A science or engineering degree is preferred, and industrial experience is highly desired.

The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, strong customer interface skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and install parts while maintaining documentation. Occasional travel to TEL factories and customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electronics, engineering, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No prior experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment is required.
• Excellent customer interface skills are required.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use appropriate tools are required.
• Thorough understanding of maintenance, repair and installation of equipment procedures is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and maintain records and reports as required.
• Coordinate activities with peers, supervisors, and customers to minimize downtime.
• Order and install parts as needed.
• Respond to emergency service calls as required.
• Instruct customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance.
• Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed.
• Stay current on equipment/tools through training and manuals, and other relevant materials.
• Maintain upkeep, security of company property including vehicles and tools.
• Adhere to conduct standards to maintain credentials on customer sites.
