Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is hiring an Equipment Technician to install, maintain, and repair complex production machinery. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot failures, and restore uptime while ensuring equipment is calibrated to specifications.

The role requires hands-on technical skills, including vacuum/RF/pneumatic systems, schematics reading, and experience with semiconductor equipment. Night shifts are included, with a pay range of $26.00–$33.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2 years of hands-on equipment maintenance / troubleshooting experience (semiconductor preferred, but related high-tech manufacturing, industrial, or military acceptable).
• 3–5+ years of semiconductor equipment maintenance experience on specific tool platforms.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot to component level, read schematics, and work with vacuum/RF/pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance cycles and inspections to prevent unplanned downtime.
• Troubleshoot alarms, diagnose equipment status, perform root cause analysis, and execute emergency repairs.
• Verify equipment parameters, evaluate capability, and analyze performance trends.
