Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Equipment Technician to support memory and logic production lines through maintenance, calibration, and process support. You will work with engineers and manufacturing to follow SOPs and perform in-line adjustments, while prioritizing safety and compliance on-site.

The role requires a 2-year technical certification or ASE credentials, strong problem-solving, and the ability to learn new systems.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical certification required.
• 3+ ASE certifications or 4 years semiconductor technician experience or 4 years equivalent military service.
• Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to procedure changes; strong communication, teamwork, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Familiar with TPM concepts.
• Attention to detail and task oriented; value customer service and teamwork.
• Ability to adhere to SOPs strictly; willingness to work off-hours if necessary.
• Electro-mechanical aptitude; basic understanding of hand tools, pneumatics, and electricity.

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance (PM)/Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance following SOPs.
• Troubleshooting: perform failure analysis and follow scripts to anticipate failures.
• Monitor equipment and processes and seek improvements.
• Collaborate effectively within a dynamic team.
