Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is hiring an Equipment Technician to support manufacturing and system operations, calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance and quality testing of memory chips and logic devices.

You will work with engineers and manufacturing to follow SOPs, perform rework as needed and analyze operating data to optimize processes. The role emphasizes safety and environmental compliance while offering competitive total rewards.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical certification or equivalent.
• ASE certification or 4 years semiconductor technician experience.
• Familiarity with SPC methods and data analysis.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, teamwork, analytics and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance, system maintenance and change point management to keep equipment and processes running.
• Troubleshoot by performing failure analysis and following scripts to anticipate failures.
• Monitor equipment and processes and identify opportunities to improve operations.
• Collaborate effectively within a dynamic team.
