Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a technician to support CMP manufacturing and system operations. The role involves setup, calibration, data collection, and in-line adjustments to ensure product quality and process control.

Requires 2-year degree or technical training and 5–10 years of related experience; CMP or high-volume manufacturing experience preferred. Base pay is $26.50–$33.00 per hour, with full benefits and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Two-year college or technical degree required.
• 5–10 years of related experience.
• CMP semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint with strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance: ensure equipment and processes run effectively following SOPs.
• Troubleshooting: perform failure analysis and follow scripts to troubleshoot.
• Monitor equipment/process: observe current state and identify improvement opportunities.
• Work inside a fab environment, wearing a fab suit for the shift.
• Teamwork and communication: collaborate effectively across the organization.
