Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Equipment Technician to support manufacturing and system operations, including setup, calibration, maintenance, failure analysis, and documentation. Uses sophisticated programs to adjust processes and collect operating data to improve products.

The role requires strong teamwork, adherence to SOPs, and flexibility for night shifts; base pay and comprehensive benefits are provided with on-site work.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical certification (TTI, ITT, Trade Cert, HVAC) or equivalent.
• 3+ ASE certs or 4 years Semiconductor Technician experience.
• Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and Power Point.

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance (PM)/CPM/System Maintenance to keep equipment running.
• Troubleshooting and failure analysis following scripts to anticipate future failures.
• Monitor equipment and processes, identify improvements, and work with the team.
• Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing on a dynamic team.
