Job summary
Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Taylor, TX is seeking an Equipment Technician for night shifts to perform planned maintenance and tool recovery for CVD equipment. The role includes troubleshooting, monitoring abnormal signals, and coordinating with the Process team to ensure proper disposition of materials.
A technical degree plus hands-on semiconductor experience is required, with preference for AMAT Endura/Robot familiarity.
Qualifications
- 2+ years work experience in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment.
- Two year technical degree or equivalent military experience.
- Experience in high-volume semiconductor fabrication.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance following SOP and PM processes.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and respond to interlocks.
- Monitor tool health and communicate issues to Process team.
