Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Technician to stabilize production and secure quality through optimized operation of semiconductor wet clean equipment. You will help stabilize mass production of new products in early stages by solving problems via verification and improvements.

The role emphasizes cost reduction by addressing low productivity on site. The position involves rotating night shifts with specific on-site duties and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years prior work experience.
• Ability to work within a team environment and effectively communicate throughout organization
• Ability to acquire and apply job skills and learn the company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks that are routinely/semi-routinely in nature
• Ability to follow established procedures on work.
• High school or vocational college graduates

Responsibilities

• Performing Preventative Maintenance (PM)/Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance, following standard operating procedures to ensure equipment/ processes/systems are running effectively.
• Troubleshooting: Conducts failure analysis and follows scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures.
• Monitoring Equipment/Process: Monitoring equipment and processes in current state and proactively looks for ways to improve processes.
