Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Equipment Engineer to monitor and sustain the health of the In/Out Room equipment fleet, including one-of-a-kind packaging systems and accessory gear. You will craft data-driven dashboards, define maintenance workflows, and coordinate with vendors for escalations.

This full-time, on-site role requires a deep understanding of sub-fab equipment and TPM practices. You will develop KPIs, automate fleet health alerts, and produce operating manuals and SOPs

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with sub-fab systems in semiconductor industry.
• Experience with mechanical repair of equipment.
• Proficiency in data/statistical analytics.
• Knowledge of common industrial sensors (pressure, temperature, flow).
• Proficiency with TPM concepts and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Understand the core function of each equipment type.
• Learn maintenance procedures and scheduling.
• Build dashboards and visualize fleet health.
• Lead root cause investigations for failures.
• Collaborate with engineers to drive improvements.
• Produce SOPs and fleet documentation.
