Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Equipment Engineer TR to lead a 4-person team across 4 shifts, focusing on documenting, trending, and sustaining the health of the In/Out Room equipment fleet. You will work with vendors on escalations and drive data-driven improvements.

Candidates should have a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Industrial, or Process Engineering, 3+ years in sub-fab semiconductor environments, and strong data analytics, TPM knowledge, and mechanical repair

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Industrial, or Process Engineering.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with sub-fab systems in semiconductor industry.
• Experience with data/statistical analytics.
• Experience with mechanical repair of equipment.
• Knowledge of common industrial sensors.

Responsibilities

• Understand the core function of each equipment type and failure modes.
• Lead a team of 4 engineers across 4 shifts; document, trend, and sustain fleet health.
• Develop dashboards and automate escalations based on spec limits.
• Perform root cause investigations and organize improvement projects with ROI.
• Produce manuals, SOPs, and fleet KPI reports; maintain fleet records.
• Collaborate with vendors on escalations and maintain safety/compliance.
