Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Austin, TX is seeking an Equipment Engineer to monitor the In/Out Room fleet health, trending data, and sustainment activities. You will act as the point of contact when tools fail, coordinate repairs, and work with vendors on escalations while building proactive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities include data-driven dashboards, SPC-based analysis, and developing standard operating procedures to improve reliability and uptime across core packaging equipment

Qualifications

Bachelor-level engineering degree in a relevant field and 3+ years in semiconductor equipment.
Proficiency with data/statistical analytics and SPC concepts.
Experience with repair and maintenance of industrial equipment in a high-volume fab.

Responsibilities

Document, trend, and sustain health of In/Out Room equipment fleet.
Create dashboards and data-driven actions for fleet health.
Lead preventive maintenance schedules and root-cause investigations.
Collaborate with vendors on escalations and improvements.
