Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Austin, TX is seeking an Equipment Engineer TR to lead a team of four engineers across four shifts, responsible for documenting, trending, and sustaining the In/Out Room equipment fleet. The fleet includes automated packaging gear, heaters, and N2 pump systems, with real-time dashboards guiding actions.

You will drive fleet health via data analysis, SPC, and standardized maintenance procedures, while collaborating with vendors on escalations and chasing ROI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with semiconductor sub-fab systems.
• Experience in other manufacturing environments with large equipment fleets.
• Proficiency in data/statistical analytics.
• Experience with mechanical repair of equipment.
• Knowledge of industrial sensors (pressure, temperature, flow, etc.).
• Proficiency with TPM concepts and implementation in industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4 engineers across 4 shifts and sustain fleet health.
• Document, trend, and monitor In/Out Room equipment performance.
• Create maintenance procedures and constraints for failures.
• Develop dashboards and automate escalations based on specs.
• Perform root cause investigations and drive reliability improvements.
• Produce manuals, SOPs, and fleet records; track KPIs.
