Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Equipment Engineer to document and sustain the health of the In/Out Room equipment fleet, including automated packaging and accessory systems. You will build dashboards, trend data, and define work processes to action fleet issues in real time.

The role requires a Mechanical/Industrial/Process Engineering background, 3+ years in sub-fab environments, and hands-on experience with data analytics, equipment repair, and TPM concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Industrial, or Process Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with sub-fab systems in semiconductor industry.
• Experience in other manufacturing environments with large quantities of equipment.
• Proficiency in data/statistical analytics.
• Experience with mechanical repair of equipment.
• Knowledge of common industrial sensors (pressure, temperature, flow, etc).
• Proficiency with TPM concepts and implementation in industry.

Responsibilities

• Understand core function and design concepts of each equipment type.
• Learn maintenance procedures and schedule maintenance activities.
• Compile data sets and rank fleet health using SPC and dashboards.
• Lead projects and drive improvements with ROI and cross-functional teams.
