Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks an Equipment Engineer to lead a 4-person team across 4 shifts, focusing on sustaining the health of the In/Out Room fleet. You will identify data sets, trends, and dashboards to monitor equipment performance and action fleet health.

Responsibilities include maintenance procedures, KPI dashboards, reliability analysis, and collaboration with vendors on escalations. A Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Industrial, or Process Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with sub-fab systems in semiconductor industry.
• Experience in other manufacturing environments with large quantities of equipment.
• Proficiency in data/statistical analytics.
• Experience with mechanical repair of equipment.
• Knowledge of common industrial sensors (pressure, temperature, flow, etc.).
• Proficiency with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) concepts and how to implement them in industry.

Responsibilities

• Understand the core function and failure modes of each equipment type.
• Document maintenance procedures and schedule preventive actions.
• Build dashboards and automate escalation of equipment issues based on limits.
• Analyze equipment performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Produce and maintain operating manuals, SOPs, and fleet records.
• Lead a team of 4 engineers across 4 shifts with coaching and development.
