Job summary

Enterprise Electrical seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and strengthen internal controls. You will lead the accounting staff, manage job cost accounting, and collaborate with operations to support scalable financial processes.

The role requires 7–10+ years in accounting/financial reporting, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and strong ERP/Excel skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
CPA certification preferred but not required.
7–10+ years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience.
Experience managing accounting operations, month-end close processes, and financial reporting activities required.
Experience supervising or leading accounting staff preferred.
Construction, contractor, industrial, or project-based accounting experience strongly preferred.
Experience with ERP systems, job cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis required.

Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and job cost accounting activities.
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
Support preparation of internal financial reports, operational reporting, and executive reporting packages.
Maintain and strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and financial procedures.
Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial planning activities.
Coordinate audit preparation and support external auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Monitor compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable financial regulations.
Partner with operations, payroll, HR, procurement, and project management teams to support accurate financial reporting and job cost management.
Oversee accounting system utilization, reporting improvements, and process optimization initiatives.
Assist leadership with financial analysis, reporting trends, and operational support.
Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and accounting process improvements.
Support implementation of financial controls and accounting best practices across the organization.
