Job summary

Advanced Energy, a global leader in precision power conversion, is seeking an accounting leader to drive ERP implementation, mergers and acquisitions, and finance transformation. Reporting to the Assistant Corporate Controller, the role partners across Finance, Accounting, IT and Operations to build scalable processes and strong controls for growth.

You will collaborate with Tax, Treasury, Legal and other teams, lead digital strategy initiatives, and mentor the accounting staff while navigating

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Proven organizational, time management, project management, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt and connect with global teams.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Ability to work with large data sets.
• Advanced Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Hands-on, positive attitude; results-driven problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Understand data sources and enterprise systems to enable external and internal reporting.
• Partner cross-functionally to support financial initiatives and ERP implementations.
• Manage accounting activities for acquisitions and coordinate purchase accounting.
• Drive finance transformation and automation projects.
• Act as a business partner to implement digital strategy and roadmap.
• Support business integration, redesign and special projects.
• Build relationships with executive leadership and global partners.
• Champion change management and mentor the accounting team.
