Job summary

MAPFRE is seeking a Solutions Delivery Manager to lead the development of our enterprise Context Layer and semantic framework, unifying ontology, glossary, metadata, and data products to empower trusted analytics and AI-ready data.

This role operates at the intersection of Data Governance, Analytics, Semantic Technologies, and AI, partnering across business and technology teams to build scalable enterprise capabilities and drive adoption across analytics, self-service data, and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, math, statistics, data science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data governance, data management, data architecture, analytics, or related disciplines.
• Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, or AWS; solid data analytics ecosystem understanding.
• Strong understanding of metadata management, business glossaries, data lineage, governance frameworks, semantic modeling, and data discoverability.
• Proven ability to translate business rules and metrics into governed semantic assets.
• Experience partnering with data engineering/architecture/AI teams to deliver enterprise data solutions.
• Insurance industry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and evolution of Mapfre's enterprise Context Layer, including ontology, taxonomy, business glossary, metadata, lineage, knowledge graphs, and enterprise semantic models.
• Define semantic framework for consistent understanding of business concepts across analytics, reporting, data products, and AI solutions.
• Translate business concepts into governed, reusable semantic assets.
• Drive metadata management, business glossary, data quality, certification, and data product governance initiatives.
• Help establish AI-ready data foundation by creating trusted business context for copilots and AI solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Analytics, Governance, and AI teams to embed semantic definitions and governance standards into enterprise platforms.
