Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage stores within the district and deliver outstanding customer service. You will develop relationships, show units, process leases, collect payments via POS, and perform daily maintenance to keep the property clean and secure.

The role emphasizes daytime hours with potential Sunday coverage, competitive pay from day one, and opportunities to grow across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• While performing the duties of this job, you will be frequently required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our POS, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls regarding late payments.
• Physical requirements include daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the store grounds, opening and closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).
• Maintaining the facility through mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning storage units, and similar activities.
• Keeping a clean and safe storage facility to ensure conditions meet company guidelines.
