Job summary

Prime Group Holdings, LLC, operating Prime Storage Group, is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily operations of self-storage facilities. You will drive unit rentals, merchandise sales, and customer interactions while maintaining secure, clean properties.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in a fast-paced customer-facing role, strong communication skills, and the ability to learn POS systems. The role offers travel between locations and a path for career advancement within a values-driven team.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with P&L exposure (or recent bachelor's grad).
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• Must be technically savvy with ability to learn new applications and POS systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Outlook.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel and work at multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer interactions in person and by phone to meet tenants’ needs.
• Generate sales and maintain high occupancy through advertising and relationship-building.
• Manage daily operations including collections, deposits, and customer calls.
• Show and rent units by assessing tenant needs and offering storage solutions.
• Sell merchandise, upsell insurance, schedule moving trucks, and cross-sell other facilities.
• Assist with auction preparations and handle tenant communications with care.
• Maintain curb appeal and safety; perform minor maintenance tasks as needed.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
