Mini Mall Storage Properties in Palatine, IL is seeking a Customer Service Representative (Self Storage) to blend customer service, sales, and property operations to guide customers to the right storage solutions while keeping the facility safe, clean, and welcoming.

You will assist customers in person, by phone, and online; convert leads into rentals; complete rental agreements and payments; and support collections, inspections, and daily reconciliation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, or property management is an asset.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Comfortable working independently and juggling multiple priorities.
• A background check is required as part of the hiring process.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, are expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person, by phone, and online.
• Convert leads into rentals through consultative selling and relationship building.
• Complete rental agreements, payments, and customer documentation accurately.
• Support collections, delinquency management, and auction processes.
• Conduct property inspections and maintain unit inventory.
• Ensure the facility meets cleanliness, safety, security, and brand standards.
• Process payments and complete daily business reconciliation.
• Support maintenance and property improvement initiatives.
• Safely lift, carry, and transport materials weighing up to 50 lbs on an occasional basis.
