Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Nashville, TN is seeking a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned projects on site. You will oversee material and equipment, support people management, and ensure documentation supports timely and profitable completion in line with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

This role requires coordinating with owners, architects, and subcontractors, leading daily standups and trade meetings, developing work plans, and monitoring safety, quality and costs

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 3+ years construction experience with field supervision preferred.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, safety, QA/QC and project closeouts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned projects on site.
• Lead daily standups and weekly trade meetings; track progress and costs.
• Coordinate materials, equipment and field staffing; ensure documentation is complete.
• Support pursuit and closeout activities and maintain strong owner/designer relationships.
