Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Superintendent to plan, manage and execute on assigned projects of varying complexity. You will oversee material, equipment, people management, and documentation to meet project goals for timely, profitable completion.

You will support Self Perform work, travel to assigned projects, and lead safety culture while coordinating with stakeholders through meetings and reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED with preferred bachelor’s in construction management or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years construction experience and 3+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience with Lean principles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors, staff, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate and manage project site care, custody and control.
• Lead meetings and participate in progress/OAC meetings.
• Create and manage project schedule with Project Manager.
• Track project budget and costs using cost reports.
• Communicate key project information to owners, design team and authorities.
• Support project closeouts and pre-punch activities.
• Identify and recruit top talent and promote diversity and inclusion.
