Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Nashville, TN is seeking a Superintendent 2 - Self-Perform Carpentry Lead to plan, manage and execute on assigned projects with responsibility for material, equipment and people management. The role ensures documentation, meeting project goals for timely and profitable completion, and collaboration with owners, design teams and field staff.

You will drive safety, quality and efficiency on site, lead meetings, manage budgets and coordinate with subcontractors to deliver

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred).
• 5+ years construction experience.
• 3+ years field supervision experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• May require periods of travel and/or relocation.
• Experience with Lean principles (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors staff.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates and manages project site care and control.
• Leads daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
• Attends progress and OAC meetings.
• Creates and manages project schedule with Project Manager.
• Tracks budget and costs using PM system reports.
• Communicates project information to owners, design team and subcontractors.
