Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Nashville is seeking a Superintendent 2 to plan, manage and execute on assigned projects with some complexity. You will oversee material and equipment, assist with people management, ensure documentation, and help achieve timely, profitable completion in line with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

This role requires leading safety culture, coordinating subcontractors, managing trades, developing work plans, and maintaining project schedules and budgets with PM input.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of construction experience.
• 3+ years of field supervision experience.
• Lean principles experience preferred.
• Strong safety culture and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety initiatives and mentors staff.
• Manages subcontractors and overall workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and QA/QC.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Maintains project site coordination and control.
• Leads meetings and manages project schedules.
• Prepares and reviews progress and cost reports.
• Supports project closeouts and owner coordination.
