Columbia Bank is seeking an experienced mortgage loan originator in Hood River, OR to originate self-generated residential loans and build a network of real estate professionals and other referral sources. You will manage the loan process from application through closing, ensuring compliance and high-quality customer service.

The role emphasizes outside sales, relationship building, and executing marketing plans to meet monthly production targets.

Qualifications

• 2 years of mortgage self-generated origination/sales experience.
• Knowledge of home lending processing, underwriting, closing and funding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential loans through self-generated referrals.
• Develop and execute business development/marketing plan.
• Coordinate loan through processing, underwriting, closing and funding.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate disclosures to customers.
