Job summary

Columbia Bank seeks an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator to originate self-generated residential loans by building and maintaining relationships with real estate professionals, builders, and internal partners. You will manage the loan from application through funding and post-closing, with a focus on regulatory compliance and exceptional service.

This commission-based role requires an MLO registration under the SAFE Act and a strong knowledge of lending programs, policies, and disclosure

Qualifications

• 2 years of self-generated mortgage origination/sales and structuring experience (Required).
• Knowledge of home lending processes including processing, underwriting, closing and funding.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans through self-generated sources and relationships with real estate professionals, builders, and internal partners.
• Solicit and develop referral networks to sustain ongoing loan opportunities.
• Responsible for loan file through processing, underwriting, closing, funding and post-closing.
• Provide thorough disclosures and explanations of products, pricing, policies and guidelines.
