Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking an experienced mortgage loan originator to originate self-generated residential mortgage loans. You will build and maintain relationships with real estate professionals and other referral sources to create ongoing opportunities.

The role involves outside sales, loan processing oversight, and ensuring compliance with SAFE Act and TILA regulations. Onsite role in Tacoma, WA with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of home lending industry including processing, underwriting, closing and funding
• Ability to develop sustainable referral sources and generate leads
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans through self-generated activity and relationships
• Manage loan files from application through closing and post-closing
• Develop and execute a business development/marketing plan
• Comply with all federal, state and local mortgage regulations
