Columbia Bank in Fresno, CA seeks an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator to originate self-generated residential mortgages and expand referral networks. You will build relationships with real estate professionals and internal partners to create ongoing lending opportunities.

You will interview borrowers, analyze finances, advise on product options, and guide the loan through underwriting, closing, and funding, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mortgage self-generated origination/sales experience.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Originate self-generated residential mortgages outside the office.
• Develop and execute business development and marketing plans.
• Interview borrowers, analyze financial data, and determine financing objectives.
• Maintain knowledge of lending programs, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Gather documentation and ensure accurate disclosures and loan file progression.
• Oversee loan file through underwriting, closing, funding and post-closing.
