Job summary

Atomic Storage Group is seeking reliable independent maintenance contractors to support upkeep across its self-storage facilities in the United States. The Boots on the Ground contractors will perform repairs, landscaping, trash removal, and general property maintenance while managing their own schedules as 1099 contractors.

Compensation and payment terms will be discussed based on property needs and the contractor agreement.

Qualifications

Must own a truck capable of hauling equipment, supplies, and debris.
Must provide and safely operate personal hand tools and power tools.
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently without direct supervision.
Reliable, responsive, and professional in communication.
Must pass a background check prior to engagement.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Perform light maintenance and minor repairs around the property.
Use tools such as drills or grinders to remove locks when necessary.
Assist with delinquency lock processes as needed.
Manage weed control and general property cleaning.
Help maintain curb appeal and property appearance.
Clean out abandoned or vacated units and transport debris/items for disposal when necessary.
Conduct routine property evaluations and coordinate with vendors.
Monitor overall appearance and condition of the property and communicate issues promptly.
Assist with auction preparation tasks when needed.
Work independently and manage your own schedule while ensuring tasks are completed.
